Known as the home of the undefeated champion, Computer Communication Development Institute (CCDI) anchored one of the most prestigious basketball leagues in Sorsogon, the Basketball Inter-Collegiate Championship of Sorsogon (BICCS) Season 11.

With the theme “Grind and Roar”, the opening ceremony was held at the Provincial Gymnasium last September 4, 2017 headed by the BICCS Chairman, Mr. Edgar C. Balasta, with the presence of special guests: Governor Robert Lee Rodrigueza, Sorsogon City Mayor Sally Lee, and Vice Mayor Jonathan Balintong.

The opening program started with a parade led by the Class Marangal of Sorsogon College of Criminology Incorporated (SCCI) together with the guest marching band from the University of Northeastern Philippines, Naga City.

Mr. Balasta officially declared the opening of the games, welcoming all the 21 participating schools and 40 teams, and all the guests. In like manner, Governor Rodrigueza also delivered words of acknowledgement where he mentioned and emphasized that “Sport is better that drugs.”.

At the end of the season, CCDI Wildcats once again grappled the championship for the College Division, followed by (name of school) as the 1st runner up, (name of school), 2nd runner up and (name of school), and 3rd runner up. And on the High School Division, (name of school) emerged as the champion, CCDI being the 1st  runner up, (name of school), 2nd runner up, and (name of school), the 3rd runner up.

Likewise, a small DLC competition among the participating schools was also conducted as well as the Search for Ms. BICCS 11 where Ms. Julie Diaz and Ms. April Arcos, both from CCDI, were concluded as winners for the College and Senior High School Level respectively.
